1. Service Concept


• The OmakaseBox Club consists of the monthly delivery of a themed box, developed by Chef Éder Nascimento, containing products selected according to the season and curated within the framework of Japanese gastronomy (omakase/kaiseki style).

• The contents may include exclusive ingredients, sauces, mise en place elements, premium snacks, pairing suggestions, as well as occasional surprises or seasonal gifts.

 

2. Allergens, Food Intolerances, and Good Handling Practices:


• The OmakaseBox Club strictly adheres to all applicable standards and regulations regarding hygiene, food safety, and food-handling practices throughout every stage of the selection, preparation, and packaging of the products provided.

• Should the member have any allergies, intolerances, or dietary restrictions, such conditions must be communicated in writing and in advance, prior to subscription and payment of the plan, so that the feasibility of any adaptations may be assessed.

• Notwithstanding full compliance with professional best practices, the member acknowledges that cross-contamination may occur, particularly through ingredients or industrially produced items over which the producer has no direct control. Therefore, the OmakaseBox Club cannot be held liable for any adverse reactions resulting from food allergies or intolerances.

• By subscribing to this service, the member accepts and understands the inherent risks associated with the consumption of food handled in professional and laboratory environments, and hereby releases Chef Éder Nascimento and the OmakaseBox Club from any liability regarding adverse consequences not previously communicated or arising from factors external to production.

• Whenever possible, and subject to prior validation, Chef Éder Nascimento undertakes to adapt ingredients or propose suitable alternatives, without any mandatory guarantee of acceptance, technical feasibility, or gastronomic viability.

3. Duration of Membership:


• The subscription is valid for a consecutive 3-month period
(Example: December, January, and February, or January, February, and March, depending on the start date)
.

• Membership is confirmed upon payment of the first month together with the enrolment fee.

 

4. Plans and Payment


• The subscription operates on a monthly basis, with payment due in advance, no later than the 5th day of each month.

• The first monthly payment amounts to €59.99 (comprising €39.90 for the monthly fee + €20.09 for the enrolment fee).

• Payment may be made via bank transfer or MB Way; payment details will be provided following direct contact with the member.

• The first box will only be prepared once payment has been confirmed at least 15 days prior to the scheduled delivery date.

 

5. Delivery and Logistics


• Deliveries will take place between the second and fourth week of each month. The exact location, date, and time for pickup will always be communicated in advance via message.

• The member must ensure that they will pick up the box personally or authorize a third party to do so by sending an email with the pickup request.

 

6. Capacity Limitation


• To ensure quality and exclusivity, the number of members is limited.

• Enrollment in the OmakaseBox Club is possible only by referral and subject to availability.

• Confirmation follows a “paid = confirmed” order of priority.

7. Cancellation and Withdrawal


• The subscription may be cancelled at any time, provided written notice is given at least 30 days prior to the next billing cycle.

• Cancellations made outside this period will result in the charge for the upcoming box and require the return of all supplied items:
(box, hashi, hashi rest, and furoshiki wrapping cloth).

• Once the box has entered its production/preparation stage, cancellation for the current month is no longer possible.

 

8. Plan Changes or Temporary Pause


• A member may request a subscription “pause” for one cycle (maximum of twice per year), provided the request is made 30 days in advance.

• The member must return all supplied items during the pause:
(box, hashi, hashi rest, and furoshiki wrapping cloth).

9. Care and Washing Instructions – Shokado Box and Furoshiki Cloth


• The Shokado box must not be washed in a dishwasher; it must be washed exclusively by hand.

• Do not use abrasive sponges or cleaning tools on the Shokado box, including steel wool, hard brushes, or any product that may scratch or damage its surface.

• Only mild/neutral detergent, water, and a soft sponge or cloth should be used for cleaning.

• The furoshiki cloth must not be washed or used as a tablecloth; it should be stored immediately after unwrapping the box.

• Both the Shokado box and the furoshiki cloth must be returned clean and completely dry at the time of delivery/return, to avoid odors, stains, mold, or deterioration.

• Any damage resulting from improper use, loss, or return in poor condition will incur a fee equivalent to one month’s current subscription value + the current enrolment fee.

 

10. Renewall


• The subscription may be renewed for the next season upon pre-reservation and immediate payment.

• Active members have priority.

 

11. Confidentiality and Exclusivity


• The recipes, techniques, and materials included in the box are for personal use only and may not be reproduced or used commercially without prior authorization.

• Each box is curated by Chef Éder Nascimento, following a seasonal and authorial concept.

• The member acknowledges that some ingredients may require simple culinary preparation

• All items offered are for personal, non-commercial use.
